چکیده
Recently, there has been considerable research interest in the potential for DC distribution systems buildings instead of traditional AC systems. Due to need performing power conversions between and electricity, may provide electrical efficiency advantages some To support comparative evaluations AC-only, DC-only, hybrid AC/DC buildings, a new modeling toolkit called Building Electrical Efficiency Analysis Model (BEEAM) was developed is described this paper. account harmonics currents or voltages arising from nonlinear devices, implements harmonic flow, along with device behavioral descriptions derived empirical measurements. This paper describes framework, network equations, representations, an implementation open source software package, including component library graphical interface creating circuits. Simulations behavior system efficiencies using are compared experimental measurements small office environment variety operating load configurations. A detailed analysis uncertainty estimation also provided. Key findings were that comparison predicted versus measured losses validation testbed initial device- system-level reasonably good accuracy under both balanced unbalanced scenarios. An revealed maximum estimated error across all scenarios 3%, modeled agreed within approximately half Based on correspondence simulation measurement, proposed by authors as potentially useful tool comparing AC, DC, buildings.

Review of Four Studies Comparing Efficiency of AC and DC Distribution for Data Centers
DC is proposed for use in data centers as an alternative to AC distribution primarily based on publicized claims of efficiency improvements and energy savings. This paper shows that the most widely cited values for quantitative improvements are wrong and grossly overstate the efficiency differences between AC and DC, and that the latest AC and DC systems provide effectively the same efficiency....
متن کاملHigh-Efficiency Isolated Bidirectional Ac–Dc Converter for a Dc Distribution System
The isolated bidirectional ac–dc converter is for the 380-V dc power distribution system to control the bidirectional power flow and to improve its power conversion efficiency. Here the high-side switches of the ac– dc rectifier employ IGBTs without anti-parallel diodes and SiC diodes. In addition, the low-side switches are consisting of two MOSFETs to reduce the conduction loss in the rectific...
متن کاملA Novel Multilevel Ac–Dc-Ac Converters with Improved Efficiency
Multilevel inverter technology has emerged recently as a very important alternative in the area of high power medium-voltage control and also for improving the total harmonic distortion by reducing the harmonics. Generally, the poor quality of voltage and current of a conventional inverter fed induction machine is obtained due to the presence of harmonics and hence there is a significant level ...

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
